S K Bureau Service is seeking a CNC Production Supervisor to oversee the CNC routing section and ensure efficient production execution. The role covers programming review, tooling control, and collaboration with the Technical Office to optimize layouts and machining strategies.

The position focuses on reducing cycle times, maintaining quality and safety, and ensuring smooth handoffs between production stages. Strong coordination across departments is required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the CNC routing section and ensure smooth production execution.
  • Monitor CNC machine utilization, production flow, and nesting efficiency to maximize productivity.
  • Supervise CNC operators and ensure proper execution of production orders and machining instructions.
  • Ensure correct machine setup, tooling selection, and CNC program execution before production starts.
  • Coordinate production priorities and urgent orders based on operational requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Manage mixed production environments efficiently while maintaining workflow balance and productivity.
  • Review CNC programs, nesting layouts, and machining instructions before production execution.
  • Detect drawing mistakes, programming errors, or machining conflicts before processing materials.
  • Coordinate closely with Technical Office regarding drawings, nesting optimization, and machining requirements.
  • Ensure proper understanding and application of tool paths, feed/speed concepts, and machining strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement in machining optimization, cycle time reduction, and material utilization.
  • Monitor tooling condition, tool wear, and tooling consumption to maintain machining quality and control costs.
  • Ensure proper tooling management, replacement planning, and tooling availability.
  • Analyze and reduce causes of chip-out, burn marks, machining defects, and repeated quality issues.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance team regarding CNC breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and machine performance issues.
  • Support actions to reduce machine downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency.
  • Monitor production bottlenecks, queue management, and WIP control across CNC operations.
  • Ensure smooth transfer of machined components to the next production stages.
  • Follow production schedules and ensure proper coordination between CNC, Production, QC, and Technical Office.
  • Maintain operational discipline, reporting accuracy, and production tracking.
  • Ensure CNC operations comply with factory safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Monitor machining quality and dimensional accuracy during production.
  • Ensure CNC machines and work areas maintain proper housekeeping and operational discipline.
  • Promote safe machine operation and proper material handling practices.
  • Fill production reports accurately and follow structured reporting procedures.
  • Report machine performance, production issues, downtime, tooling status, and operational concerns regularly.
  • Track production performance indicators and support operational improvement initiatives.

  • Fill production reports accurately and follow structured reporting procedures.
