Job summary

Napco National Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily production planning, manning, and safety on the factory floor in Oman.

You will lead a team, optimise processes, ensure quality, hygiene, and HSSE compliance, and coordinate with maintenance and QC to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the correct manning per machine & fill the manpower shortage to ensure proper implementation of the daily production planning.
• Review daily production reports and ensure correctness to enable proper handover during shift changes.
• Supervise machine run-ability during trials/production and report non-conformities in raw material.
• Follow up on the team to ensure minimum waste and maximum efficiency.
• Submit and approve team requests on pulse (leaves, sick leaves, loans, etc.).
• Monitor the best size change flow cycle.
• Assign tasks and deadlines for the production team and follow up achievements of set goals.
• Manage and guide the production team to work safely and effectively while maintaining tidy plant premises.
• Ensure hygiene procedures including hairnet, mask, gloves, hand sanitization are implemented correctly on the floor.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance Department and manage corrective/workshop repair orders.
• Ensure the application of all quality procedures in coordination with the QC Department.
• Evaluate staff performance and suggest incentives and training programs.
• Comply with integrated management system requirements and align with HSSE for updating HIRA and ensuring hazards are identified and documented.
• Coordinate with HSSE to update aspects/impacts and ensure they are identified and documented.
• Participate at all levels for OH&S system development, planning, performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
