Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication activities to meet production targets.
• Plan and allocate resources as per the production schedule.
• Monitor productivity to ensure timelines are achieved.
• Coordinate workflow with QA/QC and planning teams.
• Enforce safety practices and conduct toolbox talks.

Job description

To supervise and control fabrication activities in the yard, ensuring production targets are met safely, on time, and in compliance with quality standards, drawings, and procedures.

• Supervise daily fabrication activities (cutting, welding, fitting, assembly, blasting/painting if applicable).
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials as per production schedule.
• Monitor productivity and ensure targets are achieved within approved timelines.
• Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, and stores for smooth workflow.
• Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved drawings, WPS, and specifications.

Safety (HSE)

• Enforce HSE rules and company safety policies in the fabrication yard.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure use of PPE at all times.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective action.
• Ensure equipment and tools are safely operated and maintained.
