Job summary

GBM is seeking a Senior Network and Security Presales Specialist in Oman to support the sales team by designing end-to-end network and cybersecurity solutions, preparing technical proposals, and conducting presentations. The role acts as the technical authority throughout the sales lifecycle, driving revenue growth with secure technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 7+ years of Networking and Cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years in Presales or Solution Architect roles.
• Experience with enterprise and government customers.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business, technical and cybersecurity requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Lead discovery workshops, technical assessments, presentations, demonstrations, and PoC/PoV engagements.
• Design scalable and secure enterprise networking and cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop high- and low-level solution architectures, proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, SOWs, BOMs, and solution costing.
• Provide technical expertise across NGFW, SASE, SD-WAN, NAC, SIEM, Endpoint Security, IAM, Zero Trust, Cloud Security, Data Center Networking, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and ACI.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and stakeholders throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, delivery teams, vendors, and partners to ensure feasibility and execution.
• Build relationships with technology partners and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.
• Support business development and key account strategies; identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Contribute to revenue and gross margin targets and represent the company at meetings and events.
