Job summary

Specialized Import and Trading LLC in Muscat seeks a Lead Consultant - Pre-Sales to strategize with the sales team and lead the Pre-Sales Consulting group. You will be the technical authority, building vendor and customer relations while driving multiple initiatives and supervising the team.

Candidates should have 7–10 years in Pre-Sales or related roles, with strong Cisco and Fortinet expertise, networking and cybersecurity knowledge, and proven RFP/RFI experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting experience.
• Strong experience in designing and positioning solutions based on Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
• Solid understanding of Networking and Security including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs and cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in preparing, writing, and responding to RFPs, RFIs and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor the Pre-Sales Consulting team.
• Act as go-to SME in technical/solution design for the product/services portfolio.
• Develop and implement accounts, products, services and sales strategies.
• Lead qualification of opportunities with high-level strategy and guidance.
• Manage and oversee POC, RFPs and the technical aspects of deal closures.
• Facilitate and lead technical sales calls and executive-level meetings.
• Evaluate IT landscape to align solutions with client needs.
• Work with Sales, Services and other departments to align solutions with business strategy.
• Lead the sales bid process, including RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
• Drive vendor relations and negotiate best solutions.
• Prepare and manage team performance metrics and KPIs.
• Stay updated on market trends and competitor landscapes.
