Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or transportation.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures.
• Experience with air, sea, and road freight operations.
• Experience coordinating with carriers, customs brokers, freight agents, and logistics providers.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day freight forwarding operations, including air, sea, and road shipments.
• Coordinate import, export, transit, and delivery activities from booking through final delivery.
• Manage relationships with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
• Monitor shipment schedules, cargo movements, delivery status, and potential delays.
• Ensure shipping, customs, and commercial documentation is accurate and complete.
• Coordinate customs clearance and ensure shipments comply with applicable regulations.
• Obtain and negotiate freight rates and transportation service agreements.
• Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Resolve shipment delays, damages, claims, documentation issues, and customer concerns.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide timely updates on shipment status.
• Prepare quotations, freight proposals, and operational reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators, delivery performance, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise and support freight forwarding staff and allocate daily operational responsibilities.
• Ensure company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards are followed.
• Identify opportunities to improve freight processes, service quality, and profitability.
