Job summary

Experience is seeking a Senior Engineer Drawings & Designs to lead the development and control of engineering drawings and documentation across mining and processing operations. You will guide digital engineering initiatives and ensure compliance with standards for safe, reliable plant assets.

The role covers design, modifications, MOC, and document control, liaising with Operations, Maintenance, and external consultants to deliver high-quality drawings and updated records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/production or CAD/CAM engineering.
• 15+ years designing and drafting mechanical structures in mining/minerals processing or heavy industry.
• Experience in CAD/CAM, SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior engineering/design coordination or technical authority role.
• Certifications: AutoCAD Professional or equivalent; CAMA/CMRP; Lean Six Sigma green/black belt; ACP or similar CAD cert.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage mechanical, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil, architectural, and process drawings.
• Maintain drawing standards, procedures, templates, and design guidelines.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary drawing reviews and approvals before modifications.
• Lead plant upgrades, debottlenecking, and operational modifications.
• Manage MOC, document control, and asset records; ensure lifecycle data integrity.
