Job summary

Experience is seeking a Senior HSE & Emergency Response Specialist to support the implementation and continual improvement of HSE, emergency response, fire protection, and environmental management across mining operations and process plants. The role requires hands-on leadership, field engagement, and regulatory compliance adherence.

You will conduct inspections, participate in risk assessments, lead incident investigations, and ensure readiness of emergency response resources across facilities,

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of HSE and Emergency Response experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Minimum 3 years in open-pit mining or mineral processing operations.
• Experience with emergency response planning and firefighting operations.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve HSE management systems across mining operations and facilities.
• Lead or participate in HSE inspections, audits, and permit-to-work compliance.
• Coordinate hazard analyses (HAZID, JSA, TRA) and risk mitigation.
• Lead investigations for incidents, injuries, near misses, and environmental events.
• Maintain emergency response readiness including drills, EPS, and evacuation planning.
