Job summary

CSS Group in Oman invites a seasoned Sales & BD leader to drive business development and expand the current books of business in freight forwarding and logistics. You will aim to increase revenue and volume with existing customers while onboarding new accounts.

You have 10+ years in sales and BD within freight forwarding, strong knowledge of air, sea and land freight, and proven ability to negotiate and grow share of wallet.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in sales and business development in freight forwarding, with at least 5 years in Oman.
• Deep knowledge of global freight forwarding and selling air, sea and land freight solutions.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships, negotiate and drive for results.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development to meet revenue and volume targets.
• On-board new customers and increase share of wallet with existing accounts.
• Perform MIS market analysis and reporting.
• Credit control for existing and future customers.

• CSSProduct Portfolio to be offered to Customers:
• OceanFreighting - Export, Import and X-Trade Sales (both FCL & LCL)
• AirFreighting – Export, Import and X-Trade Sales
• Warehousing& Distribution & 3PL (Crating/Lashing, Exhibition, Last MileDelivery)
• CustomsClearance & Transportation - Both Export and Import for Ocean and Airshipments.
• BreakBulk / ODC shipments
• Salesrelated Job activities:
• Salesand Business Development: To achieve target of both revenue and volumewith constant endeavor to meet and on-board new customers. Also, toensure increasing the “share of wallet” with the existing accounts monthon month.

We are looking for

• 10+ years of proven, progressive experience in salesand business development within the freight forwarding and logisticsindustry, with a minimum of 5 years successfully operating in the Omanmarket.
