Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Oman is seeking candidates to plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production activities in the offshore fabrication yard. The role involves ensuring that fabrication works are executed safely and efficiently according to approved drawings and project schedules.

As part of the responsibilities, the selected candidate will prepare work plans, optimize workflows, coordinate with various teams, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fabrication activities for offshore structures.
• Prepare daily and weekly work plans in coordination with teams.
• Ensure production targets are achieved per schedules.
• Monitor and optimize fabrication sequences for productivity.
• Coordinate with supervisors and teams for smooth execution.
• Interface with Engineering for drawing clarifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and clearance.
• Work with HSE to ensure safety during production activities.

Job description

To plan, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day production activities in the offshore fabrication yard, ensuring fabrication works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fabrication activities for offshore structures such as:
  • Jackets, decks, modules, skids, pipe racks, piles
• Prepare daily and weekly work plans in coordination with Planning and Construction teams.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per approved schedules and priorities.
• Monitor fabrication sequences and optimize workflow to improve productivity.
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and field teams to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Interface with Engineering for drawing clarifications and technical resolutions.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for stage inspections and timely clearance of works.
• Work closely with HSE to ensure safe execution of all production activities.
