Job summary

AlphaConnect is seeking a skilled Pastry Chef for a luxurious Salalah resort in Oman. You will craft desserts, pastries and breads, lead the pastry team, and collaborate with chefs to design menus for special events.

Ideal candidates bring experience in high-end hospitality, strong baking and decoration skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end setting.
• in-depth knowledge of baking techniques and pastry decoration.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.

• Prepare and bake a variety of desserts pastries and breads according to recipes and standards
• Create new and innovative pastry dishes to add to the menu
• Oversee the production of all baked goods for the resorts restaurants cafes and banquets
• Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and equipment
• Collaborate with other chefs to plan menus for special events or promotions

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
