Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Muscat is seeking a Groups and Events Sales Executive – Omani National to join our Sales and Marketing team. You will drive group and events business across corporate groups, weddings, meetings, incentives, and other segments, while building strong relationships with clients, planners, DMCs and agencies in a luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand, communicate, and adhere to all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
• Fully understand and support Mandarin Oriental, Muscat’s People & Culture strategic policies.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, DMCs, PCOs, wedding planners, and other key group and event partners.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase group room revenue, event revenue, occupancy and market share.
• Conduct face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, client entertainment, proposals, and site inspections.
• Prepare and present proposals, offers, and presentations in line with client requirements and the hotel’s commercial strategy.
