Job summary

Talabat is seeking a results-driven Local Shops Operations Manager to oversee vendor content and operations, driving efficiency and growth in the local market. You will lead internal teams and coordinate with Sales, Regional Ops and key accounts to deliver measurable improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in grocery/food-tech operations, strong data analysis skills, and a proven track record in process optimization, cost control, and team development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operational experience in Grocery or Food/Tech industries.
• High proficiency in data analysis is a must-have.
• Experience with cost control, warehouse operations, inventory management and root cause analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence across functions.
• Solid grasp of operational processes with focus on continuous improvement and compliance auditing.
• Direct line management experience with ability to build relationships and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve Local Shops operations through vendor management, optimizing processes and best practices, and developing a strong local operations team.
• Accountable for Local Shops operational performance including commercial and operational KPIs.
• Collaborate with Head of Local Shops to shape strategy and plans to achieve targets with regular reviews.
• Create and maintain strong partnership with Sales to align on strategy and opportunities.
• Coordinate with Regional Ops to be the local market ops stakeholder and share initiatives.
• Work with key accounts on performance, opportunities and market insights.
• Scope and deliver local initiatives to improve ops metrics with data analysis.
• Drive the team to deliver consistent results and improvements across Local Shops verticals.
• Review performance and implement action plans; audit compliance and reduce non-value adding tasks.
• Lead by example and provide in-depth training to the team; mentor and develop talent.
