Job summary

Talabat, part of Delivery Hero, seeks a Category Manager to lead the category management for its tMart grocery cloud store, enabling 30-minute delivery at hypermarket prices across the region.

You will own assortments, pricing, offers and supply, monitor performance, collaborate with regional teams, and partner with suppliers to optimize local categories. The role demands strong analytics, hands-on execution, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in progressive development and management of multiple product categories in FMCG
• Led cross-functional teams and projects at scale
• Detail-oriented, structured, and able to prioritize to deliver solutions
• Willing to work across operations, including warehouse floor and calls
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with hands-on use of multiple tools
• Strong intercultural skills; able to inspire diverse teams
• Fluent English; Arabic is highly advantageous

Responsibilities

• Own category management including assortments, pricing, offers, and supply.
• Monitor sales, gross margin, and P&L aligned with commercial strategy.
• Implement pricing guidelines and strategic category plans.
• Provide input to operations on flows, tools, and templates.
• Review and resolve supplier issues locally.
• Define and maintain local assortment and coordinate with regional teams.
• Price items per guidelines and conduct country price audits.
• Identify local promos and manage forecasting/reordering.
• Develop country promo calendar and ensure execution.
• Analyze market trends and local competition.
