Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Muscat, Oman, seeks a Business Development Manager to support field sales plans and grow revenue. You will identify new customers, conduct prospecting activities, and engage in solution-selling discussions to expand our geographic market.

With less than 2 years experience, you will help build a strong sales pipeline, maintain key customer relationships, and pursue cross-selling opportunities while ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention across accounts.

Qualifications

• Identify and acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, and market research.
• Generate and qualify sales leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and solution-selling discussions.
• Achieve agreed revenue, volume, and gross profit targets.
• Maintain and develop relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Understand customer business needs and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision support field sales plans and processes to achieve revenue growth, enhance customer retention and acquisition, and increase lead conversion for a defined geographic region, product line or market segment
• Comply with established procedures to implement field sales activities for increased and profitable sales on new and existing accounts
• Classify basic information for sales presentations, bids, etc., provide product/ service information and follow up on quotes to close business with the prospect
• Follow up with relevant local management to coordinate customer requests and products/ services that are being promoted
• Assist in reporting inside sales, and provide information on competitors and suppliers to product management
• Comply with established procedures, instructions and processes without making changes to them
