Job summary

gu-recruitment is seeking a Commercial Officer to drive growth in Oman and the GCC region. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence, building strategic partnerships, and developing sales channels across industrial, governmental, and corporate clients.

The candidate should have strong experience in commercial or business development, with a focus on PPE and digital HSE solutions, and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or business development roles in industrial safety, PPE, or technology solutions.
• Proven track record in growing business and managing GCC market relations.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation and AI in workplace safety.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; Italian knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously with headquarters coordination.
• Resident in Oman or willing to relocate long-term.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies to expand presence in Oman and GCC.
• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Promote PPE, safety tech, and AI-driven safety solutions to clients across sectors.
• Support negotiations, contract development, and project implementation with HQ.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, regulations, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure delivery and after-sales support.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade missions in the GCC region.
• Provide regular reporting on commercial performance and market activity.
