Job summary

Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC seeks an experienced F&B Captain to lead daily service in our luxury dining outlets. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality guest experiences, and uphold IHG standards across service, cleanliness, and safety.

With 3–5 years in F&B, including supervisory roles, you’ll train teams, manage outlets during shifts, and collaborate with kitchen and banquet teams to deliver seamless service to business and leisure guests in Muscat.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of F&B service experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in international luxury hotels preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service staff to ensure professional, efficient guest service.
• Monitor quality of food and beverage service, ensuring presentation, temperature, and portioning.
• Greet guests and handle inquiries, requests or complaints professionally.
• Provide menu knowledge to staff and guests, including ingredients and pairings.
• Ensure staff communicate and fulfill guest preferences and special requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and support staff during shifts.
• Train staff to promote service excellence.
• Monitor staff performance and adherence to standards and policies.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene regulations are followed.
• Assist in setup and presentation of dining areas, banquets, and events.
• Manage stock levels of cutlery, glassware, condiments, and service equipment.
• Oversee cash handling and POS accuracy during service.
• Collaborate with Outlet Manager and other teams to ensure smooth service.
