Job summary

Utkarsh Placement Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Manager for a new specialty chemicals manufacturing operation in Oman. The candidate will own the plant's commercial operations, from procurement to logistics. Ideal candidates should have 18-22 years of experience in the chemical sector at a GM level and familiarity with GCC customs.

This is a key leadership role offering an attractive expatriate package and a chance to build commercial systems from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 18–22 years in chemical/petrochemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing supply chain with GM level experience.
• Prior on-ground experience in GCC with knowledge of customs and import-export procedures.
• Strong command of procurement, logistics, EXIM, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end plant commercial operations including procurement, logistics, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor negotiations and long-term supplier relationships.
• Coordinate across operations, finance, and corporate functions.
