Job summary

MENA HR Solutions LLC (IBD Group) in Muscat, Oman, seeks a Procurement Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and cost optimization in a chemical/industrial setting.

The role manages end-to-end procurement activities, negotiates contracts, oversees import documentation, and drives procurement KPIs while coordinating with Maintenance, Production, and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain management, business administration, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial plants, petrochemicals, or continuous-process industries is highly desirable.
• Strong experience in technical procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, quotation evaluation, purchase orders, and delivery coordination.
• Develop procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely availability of materials, equipment, spare parts, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Lead supplier contract negotiations, commercial evaluations, and vendor performance management.
• Drive procurement cost savings, budget control, and purchasing efficiency.
• Oversee technical procurement of industrial equipment, machinery spare parts, chemicals, and maintenance materials.
• Coordinate international procurement, import documentation, logistics, and inventory planning.
• Ensure procurement compliance, maintain accurate records, and monitor procurement KPIs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Stores, Finance, and other departments.

WE ARE HIRING | PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Experience: 5+ Years

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager to join a well-established industrial organization in Muscat, Oman.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement operations, supplier management, contract negotiations, technical purchasing, and cost optimization, preferably within the industrial manufacturing or chemical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, quotation evaluation, purchase orders, and delivery coordination.

• Knowledge of international purchasing, import procedures, Incoterms, and inventory management.


• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with SAP Business One or other ERP experience preferred.


• Excellent negotiation, commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred: Omani candidates with proven procurement experience in industrial manufacturing or chemical plants, particularly those experienced in sourcing technical equipment, spare parts, and industrial materials.
