Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Deputy Director to support the Scholarship Directorate in development planning, implementation and communication of the programme. The role focuses on mentoring, succession planning and ensuring continuous stakeholder engagement with scholars, parents and partners.

The incumbent will lead academic administrative tasks, fiscal planning and new program development, while acting for the Director when required and coordinating with international academic partners.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate from an internationally recognized and fully accredited university.
• Academic administrative experience at the tertiary level, including teaching, evaluation, service and institutional management/accountability at a senior level for no less than 8 years.
• Professional and academic credibility.
• Experience engaging with national and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support development planning, implementation and communication of the programme.
• MaintainMentoring and succession planning for sustainability of the programme.
• Coordinate national and international liaison with academic institutions and partners.
• Oversee student welfare, selection, placement, monitoring and evaluation.
• Assist in policy development and new program design and budgeting processes.
• Act for the Director in their absence and perform duties as assigned.
