Job summary

Talent Arabia is seeking an IT Technical Support Engineer to support a banking client in Oman on a permanent on-site basis, focusing on Digital Signature Pad rollouts, desktop support, and hardware/software maintenance across branches.

You will deploy Windows OS images, configure client PCs in AD, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, maintain asset inventories, and coordinate with IT teams and vendors while upholding security standards and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional hands-on experience in IT technical support, desktop engineering, or field deployment.
• Hands-on practical experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory administration, and PC troubleshooting.
• Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DHCP, DNS, and enterprise software installation procedures.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Oman driving licence and readiness for localized travel across branch locations.
• Mandatory legal eligibility to work in Oman with local residency.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and deploy Digital Signature Pads and related IT peripherals across various banking branch locations in Oman.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, application, and network connectivity issues.
• Deploy Windows operating system images and configure client workstations within Active Directory (AD) domains.
• Provide prompt, professional desktop, laptop, and peripheral technical support to banking staff and end-users.
• Maintain meticulous IT asset inventory records, equipment logs, and deployment status reports.
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal IT support teams, regional managers, and external vendors.
• Ensure strict compliance with banking information security policies, endpoint protection, and patch management guidelines.
• Travel across branch locations within Oman as required for hardware deployment and signature pad rollouts.
