TheAdministratorin Muscat University isexpected to perform administrative tasks to support the academic faculties inplanning, coordinating, and implementing activities. Theposition requires collaboration with staff, students, and the industry, and responding to work requests from otherdepartments in a timely and accurate manner.
1.Prepare, maintain, and distribute meeting materials,business presentations, and other department files, and ensure qualitydocumentation is available.
2.Ensure that the website and the quality management systemportal of the department are up to date.
3.Support the organisation of field trips and other faculty-relatedspecial events like job fairs, promotion events, information sessions, studentinductions, etc.
4.Assist in budget preparation, procurement, and otherexpense management activities.
5.Perform data collection for quality assurance and otherexternal bodies.
6. Provide first-level support in advising by providingrequired documents, guidelines, and setting appointments between advisers andstudents at risk.
7. Manageday-to-day administrative operations of the faculty, including documentation,scheduling, and internal communication.
8. Assistthe Dean, Assistant Dean, and academic staff in coordinating teachingschedules, examinations, meetings, and faculty activities.
9. Actas a point of contact for students, faculty members, and external stakeholdersregarding administrative matters.
10. Maintainaccurate records of faculty operational plan, activities, reports,correspondence, and academic documentation.
11. Organizefaculty meetings, workshops, seminars, and academic events, includingpreparation of agendas and minutes.
12. Supportthe preparation of reports and ensure compliance with university policies,accreditation requirements, and regulatory bodies.
13. Coordinatewith other university departments such as HR, Registry, Finance, and IT tofacilitate faculty operations.
