Job summary

Randstad New Zealand is seeking two Level 2 Support Engineers for 6-month contracts on-site in Whangarei. You will be a Windows 11 migration support engineer, serving as the primary escalation point and helping staff navigate the new Windows 11 environment.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in IT desktop support or admin, hands-on Windows 10/11, Intune, M365 and Azure experience, and excellent communication skills. On-site work in Whangarei is required; NZ work rights essential.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of commercial IT desktop support or system administration experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Intune, M365, and Azure.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical steps clearly.
• Bachelor degree or IT certifications preferred.
• Based in Whangarei / commuting daily for on-site work.

Responsibilities

• On-site escalation point for floorwalkers; assist users face-to-face with setup problems.
• Resolve complex hardware, network, login, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Triage and escalate critical problems to the squad Tech Lead.
• Utilize Intune and PowerShell to troubleshoot issues and push updates.
