Job summary

ACC New Zealand is seeking a Recovery Coordinator in the Supported Recovery team. You will be the primary contact for clients requiring ongoing support due to injury complexity, coordinating rehabilitation plans and removing barriers to recovery.

The role covers Level 1 and Level 2 appointments, with appointment levels determined during recruitment. The salary bands are Level 1: 70,000–89,932 and Level 2: 77,502–103,336, with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, relationship management, case management, rehabilitation, health, wellbeing or social service environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients, whānau, providers and employers.
• Excellent organisation and time management with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Resilience and adaptability when supporting clients with complex or sensitive circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rehabilitation plans and remove barriers to recovery.
• Support clients to achieve greater independence and, where appropriate, return to work.
• Work alongside clients, whānau, providers and employers to ensure positive recovery outcomes.
