Job summary

Goodman Fielder Auckland Freight Centre is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to support the Warehouse Manager, drive peak efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction as a primary goal. Based in Penrose, you will help implement strategic changes across the logistics network and lead by example to standardise processes.

You will supervise picking/packing, receiving, inventory control, rostering, and training while ensuring all SOPs and HSE guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a pick-pack warehouse operation in an FMCG environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer complaints, investigate root causes and standardise processes.
• Supervise, train and direct warehouse operations including loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, and picking.
• Ensure SOPs and HSE procedures are documented and followed.
• Roster labour, manage annual leave and liaise with temp agencies.
• Maintain accurate records, training matrices and licences, and manage CHEP accounts.

We're driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff DoneAbout the roleAs the Warehouse Team Leader at our Auckland Freight Centre (AFC) you will support the Warehouse Manager to ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency focusing on customer satisfaction as a primary goal.Based in Penrose you will support implementation of a strategic plan for the our warehouse and logistics network and the change initiatives that align with this plan. You will demonstrate change leadership within the AFC team to ensure effective implementation and adaption of key change initiatives.You will:Resolve customer complaints, investigate root cause and drive the alignment of uniformed processes across the team.Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed.Supervise, train and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.Ensure all operational and HSE SOPs are documented and kept up to date.
