Job summary

Goodman Fielder is seeking a Project Quality Coordinator for the Meadow Fresh Christchurch site on a fixed-term basis of 24 months. You will collaborate with Quality, Projects, Engineering and Operations to ensure food safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle, from planning through commissioning and handover.

The role requires a strong background in food safety, quality management systems and HACCP, with dairy industry experience considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.
• Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Principles and food production processes.
• Degree in Science, Food Technology or related field and Advanced HACCP.
• Experience in the dairy industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support and coordination for site capital projects and product commercialisation activities, ensuring food safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate validation and verification activities including commissioning trials, sampling, testing, documentation and operational readiness requirements.
• Manage project-related QMS, RMP, HACCP, risk assessment and change management activities, including associated approvals and documentation.
• Conduct project-related quality, food safety and GMP assessments, identifying compliance gaps and coordinating corrective actions.

Working closely with Quality, Projects, Engineering and Operations teams, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of site capital projects and product commercialisation activities. You will coordinate food safety, quality, regulatory and compliance requirements throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to commissioning, validation and operational handover.To make this happen, your responsibilities will include:Provide quality support and coordination for site capital projects and product commercialisation activities, ensuring food safety, quality, regulatory and customer requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate validation and verification activities including commissioning trials, sampling, testing, documentation and operational readiness requirementsManage project-related QMS, RMP, HACCP, risk assessment and change management activities, including associated approvals and documentation.Conduct project-related quality, food safety and GMP assessments, identifying compliance gaps and coordinating corrective actions.Support regulatory, customer and third-party audits associated with site projects and operational changes.Note: This is a fixed term role for 24 months.About YouTo make this role a success, we are looking for an experienced Quality or Food Safety professional with a strong understanding of food manufacturing environments and regulatory compliance.
