Primary Connect in Auckland's Fresh Distribution Centre is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee the AM shift (3:00 am to 11:30 am) and manage production targets with safety, service and value in mind.

You will lead team leaders and team members, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to safety policies while building a collaborative, high‑performing team that delivers for Woolworths Group’s NZ network.

Qualifications

• Operational experience in warehouse and distribution, including systems and inventory experience.
• Proven leadership skills to optimise team performance through coaching and mentoring.
• Experience with a unionised workforce and building relationships with trade union leaders is desirable.
• Results oriented and organised approach with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
• Customer focused, inclusive mindset.

• Oversee the effective management of the operation to meet production requirements and performance targets.
• Build and promote a team environment focused on working collaboratively to achieve DC objectives.
• Lead, motivate and engage team leaders and team members on the AM shift (3:00 am to 11:30 am).
• Ensure that the team complies with safety policies, procedures and role responsibilities.
• Support implementation for continuous improvement of systems and our processes.
• Review operational area performance and implement improvements to align with organisational strategy.
