Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Associate Territory Manager to join the Trauma team in Canberra. The role involves supporting surgeons in theatre, delivering clinical guidance, and developing territory strategies.

A relocation pathway is available for suitable candidates, with a focus on building a long-term career in medical technology sales. You will work with surgeons and hospital staff, participate in onboarding and ongoing development, and take ownership of portfolio growth within the Trauma segment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing, sales, or healthcare-related experience.
• Ability to work in hospital environments, including operating theatres.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Fluency in English.
• Preferred: nursing, physiotherapy, exercise science, or related health field.
• Experience in clinical, technical, or medical sales environments.
• Experience working toward sales targets or KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Support surgeons in theatre during Trauma procedures.
• Provide clinical and technical guidance to hospital teams.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff.
• Partner with Territory Manager on territory planning and account strategy.
• Identify opportunities to grow the Trauma portfolio across the region.
• Deliver product education and in-servicing to healthcare professionals.
• Manage case preparation, instrument logistics, and inventory requirements.
• Stay up to date with new products, techniques, and industry developments.
