Job summary

K&S Freighters Ltd, a growing transport and logistics provider, seeks an Operations Support at our Auckland Branch. You will support the Transport Team with bookings, allocating jobs into the Transport Management System, and responding to customer queries.

The role is full-time and based between our Wiri and Glenbrook offices. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication, be flexible, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexible with work tasks due to leave cover.
• Able to work independently and with the team.
• High attention to detail and methodical work.
• Familiar with Transport Management systems or able to learn quickly.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and liaise with customers to ensure high service standards.
• Coordinate with Transport Coordinators and other parties to allocate and schedule jobs.
• Assist with bookings and scheduling in the Transport Management System.
• Maintain data accuracy in company and customer systems.
