Job summary

Yates, part of DuluxGroup, is seeking a commercially driven Territory Manager to own a Wellington-based territory including Wellington, Palmerston North, Taranaki and Dannevirke. This field-based role focuses on partnering with customers, identifying growth opportunities and driving sales across major retail and independent accounts.

You will manage multiple tasks and priorities with a passion for success and achieving targets, using analytical skills to guide category growth and promotions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to hunt new business and close sales.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
• Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Ability to convert insights into action and drive growth.
• Excellent planning, organization and self-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow portfolio of key retail accounts across your territory.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase sales and market share.
• Use data and insights to drive category growth, promotions and commercial outcomes.
• Develop and execute territory plans that deliver sustainable business growth.
• Represent Yates in the field, partnering closely with customers to maximise performance.
