Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Territory Manager in New Zealand to drive sales in the construction and forestry sectors. You will manage a geographic territory, stay current on equipment features, and lead customer demonstrations and events.

In this role you will balance multiple priorities, grow sales, and build long-term customer relationships while maintaining product knowledge and leveraging financing options to close deals. Brandt offers a company car, laptop, and phone as part of the package.

Qualifications

  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
  • The ability to grow sales within a specified sale territory.
  • Organization skills are a must have.
  • The capability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A strong communicator with the skill to effectively influence others.
  • Ability to build and maintain long term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company for the sale of equipment to customers, within a geographic area
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
  • Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility
  • Monitors trends in customer business and competitors' activity/products
  • Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
  • Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of customers events
  • Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
  • Timely communication of trends, activity, sales reports etc to Management
  • Reports to Brandt as directed, including by way of sales reports as managers require
  • Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes

Due to continued growth Brandt has an opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our Silverdale Sales team within the Construction and Forestry Division.

About the role:

As a Sales Consultant you will bring expertise and responsiveness to the table every day on a team dedicated to world class customer service and solutions. This career opportunity offers earnings potential along with exposure for career advancement.
