Rentokil Initial New Zealand is seeking a dynamic Territory Manager to drive performance across our Initial Hygiene business in the North Shore, covering the Harbour Bridge up to Wellsford. This field-based role focuses on retention, relationship-building, and account growth with pro-active prospecting for new commercial business.

You will manage Auckland-based client portfolios, present tailored service solutions, and leverage cross-selling across Pest Control and Ambius.

Qualifications

• Permanent full working rights in New Zealand.
• Valid NZ driver''s license.
• Clear background and pre-employment checks (medical, references).
• Direct B2B sales experience with strong closing capability.

Rentokil Initial is searching for a driven Territory Manager to drive performance across our Initial Hygiene business in the North Shore territory, covering the Harbour Bridge up to Wellsford.

In this field-based position, you will oversee an existing portfolio of customer accounts, focusing on retention, relationship building, and account growth, while proactively prospecting to win new commercial business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain enduring, high-value relationships with Auckland-based clients to ensure long-term retention
• Actively prospect and secure new accounts to expand your territory's commercial footprint
• Expertly oversee key accounts while continuously nurturing commercial partnerships
• Evaluate client contracts systematically to identify upsell potential and business growth opportunities
• Introduce tailored, solution-oriented service offerings that address specific customer needs
• Leverage cross-selling opportunities across our complementary Pest Control and Ambius brands
• Present the latest product innovations, service updates, and relevant industry insights to give clients a competitive edge
• Stay attuned to market dynamics to anticipate evolving customer requirements
• Ensure accurate pipelines and record-keeping by maintaining up-to-date entries in the internal CRM system

What We Are Looking For:

• Demonstrated background in direct B2B sales with a proven ability to successfully close business
• Solid track record of managing major accounts and deepening existing business relationships
• History of consistently exceeding assigned sales targets
• Engaging written and verbal communication style that effectively influences others
• A goal-oriented mindset paired with strong problem-solving skills to navigate sales challenges
• Ability to identify customer pain points and formulate smart, custom solutions
• Strong organizational capability to design effective call cycles and structure daily activities independently
• Commercial acumen combined with persuasive interpersonal abilities
• Tech-savviness with proficiency in Google Suite, CRM platforms, and rapid adoption of new tools
• Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
• Valid full, clean New Zealand Driver's License and a clean criminal background
• Highly competitive, uncapped commission model with clear and achievable targets
