Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in New Zealand seeks a Territory Manager to drive growth across Southland and Central Otago from Dunedin. You will build strong retailer relationships, interpret store data, and secure product distribution and displays.

Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting, selling, and presenting data and insights.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and under pressure.
  • Highly organised and commercially astute.
  • Holds a valid driver license and is willing to travel within territory.
  • Sales experience with an FMCG company and a proven track record.
  • Competent in Excel and able to interpret basic data outputs.
  • Applies sales fundamentals with support from Regional Field Sales Manager.
  • Sales & commercial skills with effective retail execution.
  • Relationship and communication: strong, trusted stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Territory planning and performance: analyze data and identify opportunities; develop and execute plans.
  • Customer engagement and relationship building with buyers, owners, managers, and store teams.
  • Selling and influencing: secure distribution, ranging, and display opportunities.
  • Perfect store and merchandising execution: ensure planograms are followed and stock is visible.
  • Ways of working & continuous improvement: manage routines, time, and priorities.
  • Approach challenges with a positive mindset, seek feedback, and learn continuously.
  • Uphold Kraft Heinz values and contribute to the company’s vision.
  • Compliance & safety: follow Food Safety, EH&S policies and HR policies.

What you’ll bring:
