The role delivers high-quality case management for Residential Tenancies Act matters, with emphasis on Māori and diverse communities in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills of engagement within a customer centric model.
• Robust communication skills and the ability to explain often complex ideas, simply, to service users from all walks of life.
• Sound organisational, administrative, customer service skills.
• Conceptual and analytical skills to critically assess issues.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with legislation.
• Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide parties with general information on problem resolution and how best to proceed with their issue.
• Effectively prioritise your workload and conduct a range of scheduling and administrative tasks for the Tenancy Tribunal.
• Schedule applications to Mediators' calendars and complete administrative matters like file management for cases.
