MBIE's Tenancy Dispute Resolution team is seeking a Dispute Resolution Coordinator (Tenancy) based in Hamilton. You will support the delivery of high-quality case management for tenants and landlords under the Residential Tenancies Act, focusing on Māori and diverse communities.

Responsibilities include reviewing Tribunal applications, providing general information, prioritising workload, scheduling for Mediators, and managing case files.

Formación

• Engage within a customer-centric model to assist service users.
• Strong communication to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Sound organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Analytical thinking to assess issues critically.
• Experience working with legislation is desirable.
• Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.

Responsabilidades

• Review Residential Tenancy Tribunal applications to identify dispute type and actions.
• Provide parties with general information on problem resolution and next steps.
• Prioritise workload and conduct scheduling and administrative tasks for the Tenancy Tribunal.
• Schedule applications to Mediators’ calendars and manage case files.
