Job summary

Hato Hone St John in Auckland is seeking a Telecare Field Representative to support customers with medical alarms. You will build trusted relationships, demonstrate and install monitored alarm systems, and provide frontline service and troubleshooting.

This permanent, full-time role covers Central/West Auckland, requires a NZ driver licence, and includes on-call every fifth weekend with allowances; you will start from home each day.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong empathy and personal resilience.
• Good technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• A full New Zealand driver licence with strong driving confidence.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with customers who rely on medical alarms.
• Demonstrate and install monitored alarm systems; ensure customers are confident using them.
• Provide top-notch customer care, including servicing and troubleshooting alarm equipment.
• Promote services at community events and group demonstrations.
• Respond promptly to emergency alerts and coordinate appropriate assistance.
