Job summary

Hato Hone St John is seeking a Telecare Field Representative to support our medical alarm customers across Tairawhiti, Wairoa and surrounding areas. This permanent, part-time role works 16 hours over two days each week, with on-call weekends and allowances provided.

No prior medical alarms experience is required; you will be trained. If you enjoy helping people and have strong communication, empathy, and a NZ driver licence, apply to join our team delivering trusted care to the community.

• Respond promptly to emergency alerts and coordinate appropriate assistance.

As Aotearoa's leading medical alarm provider, our St John Medical Alarm team are passionate about helping seniors, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable members of our community stay independent for longer. Our monitored alarm systems provide peace of mind, ensuring that help is just the push of a button away.

As a Telecare Field Representative, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our customers by:

• Building positive, trusting relationships with those who rely on our medical alarms.
• Demonstrating and installing our monitored alarm systems, ensuring customers feel confident using them.
• Providing top-notch customer care, including servicing and troubleshooting alarm equipment.
• Promoting our services at community events and group demonstrations.
• Responding promptly to emergency alerts and coordinate appropriate assistance.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 16 hours across two days a week, with the days chosen by you. You will also be on call every second weekend, with allowances provided.

This role covers Tairawhiti, Wairoa, and surrounding areas.
