Job summary

Hato Hone St John is looking for a Telecare Field Representative to join our St John Medical Alarm team in the Auckland region. You will build relationships with customers, demonstrate and install alarm systems, and deliver outstanding service while supporting vulnerable community members.

The role requires a customer-facing background, empathy, problem-solving skills, and a full NZ driver’s licence. Training is provided, with a permanent full-time schedule (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday) and

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong empathy and personal resilience.
• Good technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• A full New Zealand driver licence with strong driving confidence.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with users of our medical alarms.
• Demonstrate and install monitored alarm systems, ensuring customers feel confident using them.
• Provide top-notch customer care, including servicing and troubleshooting alarm equipment.
• Promote our services at community events and group demonstrations.
• Respond promptly to emergency alerts and coordinate appropriate assistance.
