Job summary

Hato Hone St John in Gisborne is seeking a Telecare Field Representative for a permanent part-time role (16 hours across two days, with on-call every second weekend and allowances). You will build relationships with customers who rely on medical alarms, demonstrate and install systems, and provide ongoing support across Tairawhiti and surrounding areas.

No prior alarm experience is required—we will train you. What matters is your ability to connect with people, show empathy, and resolve issues.

Our monitored alarm systems provide peace of mind, ensuring that help is just the push of a button away.

As a Telecare Field Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customers by:

• Building positive, trusting relationships with those who rely on our medical alarms.
• Demonstrating and installing our monitored alarm systems, ensuring customers feel confident using them.
• Providing top-notch customer care, including servicing and troubleshooting alarm equipment.
• Promoting our services at community events and group demonstrations.
• Responding promptly to emergency alerts and coordinate appropriate assistance.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 16 hours across two days a week, with the days chosen by you. You will also be on call every second weekend, with allowances provided. This role covers Tairawhiti, Wairoa, and surrounding areas.

You don't need prior experience with medical alarms—we'll teach you everything you need to know! What matters most is your ability to connect with people and provide outstanding customer support.
