Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our purpose is clear: to build trust in society and solve important problems.

This is a place to keep growing. You’ll learn from the best, take on meaningful challenges, and make a lasting impact for our clients, our communities, and Aotearoa.

As a Technology Support Analyst in our Internal Firm Services team, you’ll provide responsive, practical technology support across PwC New Zealand.

This Auckland-based, 12-month leave-cover role combines Service Desk operations, onsite Tech Lounge coverage and technology procurement coordination, helping our people stay connected and productive while supporting strong local service delivery and alignment with PwC Global IT.

Your day-to-day could include:
  • Providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for end-user technology, applications, incidents and service requests, with clear communication and appropriate escalation.
  • Managing incidents and requests through to resolution, including approved access provisioning and joiner, mover and leaver activities.
  • Delivering friendly, face-to-face Tech Lounge support for laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, workplace applications and basic meeting room or AV/VC needs.
  • Preparing, deploying, replacing and coordinating repairs for devices while maintaining accurate equipment and asset records.
  • Supporting approved technology purchasing by obtaining quotations, comparing supplier pricing and coordinating requests, orders, deliveries and follow-ups.
  • Working with NZiT specialists, Workplace Technology, PwC Global IT and suppliers to resolve local issues and maintain effective handoffs.
  • Identifying recurring issues and contributing to knowledge articles, service analysis, automation, self-service and other practical service improvements.
  • A relevant IT qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Practical knowledge of Windows, end-user devices, common workplace applications and incident or request management.
  • Experience in a Service Desk, desktop support or corporate technology support environment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, troubleshooting and organisational skills, with confidence supporting people remotely and onsite.
  • The ability to manage competing operational priorities and maintain accurate access, purchasing and asset records.
  • Experience with access provisioning, onboarding and offboarding, Tech Lounge or walk-up support, AV/VC, device lifecycle services, procurement coordination or asset administration would be an advantage.
  • An IT service management certification such as ITIL would be desirable.

If you don’t meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you. Your skills and potential may be a great fit.

  • Growth - Global network; leadership development; A.I. tools and training; formal learning pathways
  • Reputation - PwC is known for shaping tomorrow. Join us and you’ll accelerate your career while helping clients and communities solve their most important problems.
  • Flexibility - Flexible working; supportive coaching culture
  • Time off - Two paid recognition days off provided each year during our annual summer shutdown period; purchase up to two extra weeks’ annual leave
