Job summary

Transpower New Zealand is seeking an experienced Training Lead to manage a small team and deliver high‑quality learning solutions for the electricity transmission sector. You will partner with operations stakeholders and the Sector Workforce Development team to manage a portfolio of training materials and programmes, ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing adult learning with a relevant tertiary qualification in adult education or equivalent experience.
• People leadership experience in a growing or changing environment.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, including portfolio, programme or project management.
• Highly effective stakeholder engagement and ability to work through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team to deliver outstanding outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to align training materials with business needs.
