Job summary

Kinetic Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer & Assessor for a newly created nationwide role in New Zealand’s electrical and power sectors. You’ll deliver practical training, assess learner competency and mentor learners across Level 4 Electrical Trade and Level 5 Power Technician programs.

This permanent, full-time position offers flexible basing around New Zealand and travel to support learners nationwide.

Qualifications

• Electrical or power industry knowledge and ability to train, assess and develop others.
• Experience tutoring, training, assessing or workplace learning.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in clear, practical terms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training across Level 4 Electrical Trade and Level 5 Power Technician programs.
• Assess learner competency and mark technical work.
• Coach and mentor learners throughout their training journey.
• Collaborate with employers and learning teams to improve training.
• Develop and improve learning resources and materials.
• Travel nationally to support learners and employers.
