Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation in Newstead, North Island, is seeking a hands-on expert to support LIC's Artificial Breeding Applications during peak seasons, ensuring systems and devices run smoothly for field teams and customers.

You'll troubleshoot issues, coordinate software and hardware access, help users with varying technical knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement and excellent user experiences across AB Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business applications and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, mobile devices and business systems.
• Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast‑paced seasonal environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for LIC's Artificial Breeding applications.
• Troubleshoot issues and help users get the most from our systems.
• Coordinate devices, software and system access for field technicians.
• Prepare applications and technology for the mating season.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and user experience.
• Support testing and deployment of application enhancements.
• Maintain training materials, user guides and support documentation.
• Provide operational and administrative support across AB Operations.
• Participate in seasonal support rosters during peak periods.
