Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) is seeking a dependable delivery specialist based in Dunedin Airport Depot to support the AB Base Supervisor. You will ensure timely, on-time delivery of Artificial Breeding products across the Otago region using LIC-branded vehicles.

Your Role

This role is part of the Operations & Service Team who are responsible for delivering on the promise we make to our customers on farm.

You will support our Artificial Breeding (AB) Base Supervisor during the upcoming peak season by organising and delivering time critical Artificial Breeding products, in full, on time, every time.

• The role is based at our Dunedin Airport Depot and you’ll be making deliveries in our LIC branded vehicles, around the Otago region.
• This is a 7 day a week operation with rostered days and variable hours.
• The role supports during our peak season, which runs from October to December.

About You

With a can-do attitude, you will be a self-starter with exceptional time management and communication skills. Previous experience in logistics, liquid nitrogen and transferring of frozen straws would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.

• Good initiative and common sense, as you’ll will be working autonomously.
• Be physically fit and able to comfortably lift 20kgs, to keep up with the demands of the role.
• Have a full, clean NZ driver’s license with an excellent driving record and be comfortable driving at night.
• Be a great team player with a positive attitude.
• Have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety practices.
