Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Hamilton team with hybrid options. You will support an agile delivery team in the data and platform space, connecting technical teams with business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and successful outcomes.

Reporting to a BA Lead, you’ll elicit and validate requirements, refine concepts for high-level solution design, and ensure alignment with LIC roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an IT Business Analysis role.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Capability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions.
• Experience with Agile delivery teams.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our well-established BA practice.

This position reports to one of our Business Analyst Leads, and you will be part of a high performing BA chapter that collaborates with the business on all technology and enterprise initiatives.

Your primary focus will be supporting an agile delivery team in the data and platform space, aiding the success of our wider technology team.You will help connect technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding and successful outcomes.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Capability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions.
• A background in technology (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience with Agile delivery teams.
