Huawei International Pte Ltd. seeks a results-oriented Talent Acquisition professional to drive campus recruitment and APAC talent initiatives.
Based in Singapore, you will identify top talents through competitions and engage with universities across Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and UAE, focusing on technical and R&D roles. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast hiring needs, build strong pipelines, and strengthen Huawei’s employer branding
Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and attract top-tier talent through global competitions and academic platforms (e.g., ICPC, IMC, Supercomputing competitions, International Science Olympiads, and leading academic conferences)
Lead talent attraction and recruitment initiatives across the APAC region (based in Singapore), covering across such as Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and UAE
Develop and execute campus recruitment and internship hiring strategies, with a strong focus on technical and R&D roles
Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and build strong, high-quality talent pipelines
Represent the company at global academic and talent events to strengthen employer branding and enhance visibility across top universities and institutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, with demonstrated experience in campus recruitment and internship hiring (experience hiring for R&D/technical roles is a strong plus)
Experience in organizing employer branding or talent engagement initiatives (e.g., campus talks, hackathons, competitions) is preferred
Strong relationship management skills, especially with universities, faculty members, and academic institutions
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives and deliver results
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese to facilitate effective communication with local and China-based counterparts and clients
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Willingness to travel across the APAC region (approximately once per month or as required)
