Job summary

Huawei International Pte Ltd in New Zealand seeks a proactive analyst to support APAC technology scouting and landscape work. You will manage information resources, publish insights online, and coordinate with HQ and local teams.

You will collaborate with the APAC team on projects, events and activities, and communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and clients, while maintaining professional standards and teamwork on regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in electrical/electronics, materials engineering, computing or related fields.
• With analytical skills and ability to articulate technology insights clearly.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct technology scouting and landscaping in APAC region; output insight reports on national strategies, University technologies, key conferences and startups etc.

• Take responsibility for managing and upkeeping the APAC information and technology resources platform; serve as the point of contact for APAC and HQ colleagues. The major tasks include but not limited to: collection and review of information, timely publish the information online, enquiries follow up, monthly status review and etc.

• Work closely with APAC team on various kinds of projects, initiatives, events and other activities.

• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team

• Assist in other ad-hoc tasks, as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master degree holder in electrical and electronics/material engineering, computing or related fields, privilege will be given to candidates with at least 1 year working experience in technology related role.

• With good analytical skills and be able to articulate the technology insights clearly.

• Passionate about new technologies.

• With good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese to facilitate effective communication with local and China-based counterparts and clients.
