Rolleston Sam Singh Farming Ltd in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking an Assistant Manager for our restaurant. You will work in a fast-paced environment handling customer service, staff scheduling, and supervision.

We offer competitive pay and a minimum of 30 hours per week. This is a full-time role with rostered shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience or Level 4+ qualification in relevant field.
• Reliable and punctual.
• A clear and confident communicator.
• Calm and efficient under pressure.
• Ministry of Justice check and pre-employed drug test required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints about goods and services.
• Plan and prepare work schedules and assign staff to duties.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, dismiss and promote staff.
• Resolve staff grievances.
• Instruct staff on handling sales procedures.
• Examine returned goods and decide on action.
• Take inventory of goods for sale and order stock.
• Ensure goods and services are correctly priced and displayed.
• Enforce safety and security procedures.

Job Description

We are a restaurant here in Christchurch, New Zealand, and we are looking forAssistant Manager to join our team! You must be skilled, hardworking, and have theability to workin high pressure environments.
We offer competitve pay, between $25 to $28.00 (depending on experience) and aminimum of 30 hours per week. This is a fulltime role; work is as per the roster, Mondayto Sunday.

Job Description:

• ensuring that customers receive prompt service and quality goods and services
• responding to customers' inquiries and complaints about goods and services
• planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties
• interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing and promoting staff, and
• resolving staff grievances
• instructing staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales procedures
• examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate action
• taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock
• ensuring that goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
• ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Minimum 6 months of experience or level 4 or higher qualification in Business/commerce/management/sales/Arts or relevant field
