Job summary

Healthcarenz Limited is seeking energetic Support Workers to assist people in Hamilton Residential Services. The role involves supporting daily living activities, personal care, meals, and life skills in a home setting, with flexible rostered shifts and potential sleepovers.

Applicants should have a passion for helping others, with a preference for healthcare experience and a valid full driver’s license. Training towards NZQA Health & Wellbeing is provided at no cost, and rosters may include

We are looking for experienced permanent full time Support Workers to help the people we support in our Hamilton Residential Services. The successful applicant must have availability to be flexible to suit rostered shifts.

This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. - The list is endless! Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.

• People who are passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience with disabilities and challenges behaviours.
• Full driver's license is essential.
• Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.
