Job summary

NZCL is seeking energetic and motivated individuals to support people in their own homes in Hamilton. You will help clients live fulfilling lives, accompany them to activities, and encourage learning new skills.

The role is part-time with 5 guaranteed hours per week, most shifts after 3 pm. A valid NZ work permit or residency and a full driver’s license with own vehicle are essential.

• Experience in healthcare preferred, including youth support.

We are looking for part-time Support Workers in Hamilton to join our Whānau Support Services. This role offers 5 guaranteed hours per week, with the potential to increase over time. Hours are primarily during the week, with most shifts starting after 3 pm.

You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives to achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do such as going swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping - the list is endless!

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youth.
• Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.
